Scott Jones, Market Operations Manager
As Market Operations Manager, Scott is responsible for the trading and optimization of East Point’s battery assets in various energy markets.
Scott has over 15 years of experience in energy trading and portfolio management covering a wide reach of US power and gas markets. Prior to joining East Point, Scott worked at Southwestern Power Administration (US DOE), Associated Electric Cooperative, and Dominion Energy in various trading, advising, and portfolio and risk management roles.
Scott holds a BS in Accounting from Liberty University and MS in Finance from Creighton University.
In his free time, Scott enjoys spending time with his family, church activities, and exploring all that the great state of Virginia has to offer. Occasionally, he will work on improving his craft in woodworking.
