As Counsel, Amanda supports East Point’s legal needs across corporate, transactional, and strategic matters.
Before joining East Point Energy, Amanda practiced law for nearly 12 years in the Seattle and London offices of Wilson Sonsini, a Silicon Valley-based firm. She advised founders and investors throughout a company’s life cycle, including company formation, founder and employee equity issuances, corporate governance, venture capital financings, secondary transactions, IPOs, mergers and acquisitions, and other strategic deals. Amanda is excited to bring her legal experience to East Point and contribute to the company’s mission of advancing renewable energy. Amanda holds a BA in Religious Studies and JD from the University of Virginia.
Outside of the office, Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband and dog, cooking, lifting weights, and running (slowly). Years spent living in two of her favorite (and often overcast) cities taught her to capitalize on nice weather—usually with her dog by her side on long walks or while reading on the porch.
