Adrian Hinojas

As Business Development Manager, Adrian is responsible for originating and structuring offtake agreements for East Point Energy’s grid-scale battery storage portfolio. He works with utilities, electric cooperatives, and corporate counterparties to advance projects from early-stage opportunities to contracted revenue.

Prior to joining East Point Energy, Adrian accumulated eight years of experience in renewable energy, building on more than a decade in corporate finance, where he worked in mergers and acquisitions, capital budgeting, and financial analysis. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Business Development and General Manager of Solar at ROI Construction, where he led residential and commercial project origination and contract negotiations. Earlier in his career, Adrian founded OlaSolar Energy, working across project development, engineering, procurement and construction, and asset services.

Outside of work, Adrian is a triathlete and runner, practices Tae Kwon Do, and enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He lives in the Annapolis area and is bilingual in English and Spanish.

Adrian holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and an M.Sc. in Finance from Tecnológico de Monterrey (ITESM).
