JD Kim, Staff Accountant
JD serves as a Staff Accountant for East Point Energy. He brings a strong passion for accounting and finance to the energy storage industry.
Prior to joining East Point Energy, JD was a hotel controller managing the finance function for a Hilton property. Before that he was a tax associate preparing tax returns for fund-of-funds, law firms, and other clients. He started his career as an accounting analyst at a financial institution closing the books for trading subsidiaries.
JD earned his BS in Commerce with a concentration in Finance and Accounting from the University of Virginia. JD enjoys working out, hiking, playing board games, and spending time with his two cats.
